Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2, 2026

This policy explains what personal data the Salada de Dados website collects, what it is used for and what your rights are, under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018) and, for visitors in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who we are

Salada de Dados is an independent project, not yet a registered company, and is the controller of the personal data collected on this website.

Our privacy and data protection contact, which also serves as the data protection officer channel (LGPD art. 41), is contato@saladadedados.com.

2. What data we collect

When you join a product's early-access list, we record:

  • your email address;
  • the product you signed up for and the page the sign-up came from;
  • your visit's campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign), when the link you used to reach the site had them;
  • the date and time of the sign-up.

As with any website, Vercel, which hosts the site, may log technical access data, such as IP address, browser type, requested pages and date and time, to keep the service running and secure.

During your visit, we keep the campaign parameters in your browser's session storage (sessionStorage), so we know which campaign led to a sign-up made a few pages later. This storage is not a cookie, stays only in your browser and is deleted when you close the tab.

If you accept in the cookie notice, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages visited, where the visit came from (for example, a campaign link), device and browser type, approximate region and actions such as clicks on buttons that lead to a product and sign-ups to lists (without your email). Google Analytics sets the _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies, which last up to 2 years. If you reject or do not answer, Google Analytics is not loaded and none of these cookies are set.

We do not use advertising cookies or tools. The site's fonts and images are served by the site itself.

3. How we use your data

  • Your email: to tell you about the launch of the product you signed up for and send you Salada de Dados updates, such as new guides and products. You can leave the list at any time.
  • Product, source and campaign parameters: to understand which pages and campaigns bring sign-ups.
  • Technical access data: to keep the site running and protected against abuse.
  • Google Analytics data (if you accept): to produce usage statistics and improve the site's content and pages.

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

5. Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers that help us run the site, and only as needed:

  • Google (Google Sheets and Google Apps Script), where the early-access list is stored;
  • Google (Google Analytics), which processes usage statistics, only if you accept;
  • Vercel, the site's hosting provider, which processes technical access data;
  • the email service we use to send the launch announcement.

We may also share data when required by law or by order of a competent authority.

6. International transfers

These providers, such as Google and Vercel, store data on servers outside Brazil, including in the United States. In these cases, transfers follow LGPD art. 33, with providers that adopt data protection safeguards compatible with the law.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep your email and sign-up data while you remain on the list. It is deleted when you leave the list, through the link included in every email we send, or when you ask us to delete it at contato@saladadedados.com.

Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically by Google.

8. Security

We take measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, such as restricted access to the sign-up list, sending data only from our server and validating the information we receive. No system is completely immune to failures; if an incident may cause you significant risk or harm, we will notify you and Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD), as required by law.

9. Your rights

At any time, you can:

  • confirm whether we process your data and access it;
  • correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
  • ask us to delete your data or withdraw your consent;
  • ask for a portable copy of your data;
  • find out who we share your data with;
  • object to processing you consider unlawful.

You can change your cookie choice at any time with the "Cookie preferences" button in the site footer. If you reject, the Google Analytics cookies are removed from your browser.

To exercise any of these rights, write to contato@saladadedados.com. We will reply within 15 days. Every email we send includes a link to leave the list. If you believe your rights were not respected, you can file a complaint with the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) or, in the EU, with your local data protection authority.

10. Children

The site is aimed at professionals and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children or teenagers.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when we change how we handle personal data. The date of the current version is shown at the top of this page. If a change is relevant to you, we will let you know at the email you signed up with.
